Special Award ''Band for Courage and Understanding''

Our legendary musician Rainer Max Lingk was awarded the Special Award ''Band for Courage and Understanding 2022'' on November 7, 2022, at the State Chancellery in Potsdam by Dietmar Woidke, for his commitment against racism and violence. From the invitation: ''Special Award - Rainer Max Lingk from Meseberg (Oberhavel) is engaged, among other things, in supporting young people with a migration background and encourages adolescents to share their stories, establish connections, and stand up against grievances. The music scientist works with young people in the fields of music and media, co-founded the welcome initiative Gransee, and has been the Musical Director of the open music school ''ESTAbien!'' in the district of Ostprignitz Ruppin since 2016.''
